Avatars are the new attendees: the third layer of event experience

Events no longer end when the crowd returns home. The future of attendance at Corda Arena exists in three layers: live, digital and virtual. In that third layer, participants enter events as personalized avatars, created in our own Avatar Factory. This isn’t a concept. It’s how we’re redefining connection and opening events to the entire world.

The next dimension of attendance

We used to think of an event as something you go to

You travelled there, took your seat, and became part of the crowd. That experience will always matter, the energy of a live audience is irreplaceable.

But, the world has changed, and so has the way we connect.

Today, we build events in three layers:

  1. The live experience, where people gather physically in the arena.

  2. The digital experience, where viewers tune in via livestream.

  3. The virtual experience, where people attend as avatars, fully present in a digital space designed for interaction and imagination.

This third layer is where the boundaries disappear. Where geography no longer defines participation. Where you can attend an event from anywhere, as anyone you want to be.

Why avatars matter

Avatars are more than pixels. They are the digital version of presence, expression and inclusion.

For us, avatars represent a mindset: everyone deserves to take part, no matter where they are or who they are.

What avatars make possible

  • Inclusion: physical distance no longer limits access to events.

  • Creativity: people can express themselves through design, fashion and personality.

  • Interaction: avatars can move, react and participate in real time.

  • Community: shared digital spaces create new forms of connection.

Avatars are not replacing real-life experiences, they extend them. They let audiences feel part of something bigger, even from thousands of kilometers away.

The vision behind it

We didn’t create avatars because it was trendy. We did it because we believe that the future of connection depends on accessibility, efficiency and gathering information.

Technology should bring people closer, not divide them.

For us, avatars are the bridge between worlds, between the physical and the digital, the individual and the collective, the present and the possible.

They make participation personal again, even when you’re not physically there.

Our vision for the future

  • Events that exist across all dimensions.

  • Audiences that are no longer limited by walls.

  • Technology that feels human, intuitive and creative.

We call it Beyond Reality. Because what starts as virtual, feels entirely real.

What comes next

As we move toward the opening of our arena, the Avatar Factory will grow with it.

Future updates will let visitors interact through voice, gesture and emotion, making avatars even more lifelike and intuitive.

They will not only attend events, but also influence them: voting, reacting and co-creating experiences in real time. In the years ahead, we believe avatars will become as common as tickets. Because the future of events is not just about showing up, it’s about showing yourself.
